Repository

  • In conjunction with the college's Libraries and Learning Resources, created the first-ever music and health repository in the field.  The goal of the Music and Health Institute Research Collection is to improve access to relevant research by collecting it and storing it in one location.
  • The new Music and Health Institute Taxonomy—built by Hedden and Joy Allen, Ph.D., acting director of the Music and Health Institute and chair of Berklee's Music Therapy Department—enables users to find quality evidence that can help them recognize trends across the evidence base; compare and contrast studies on music and health; note quality studies and build on them, and identify gaps in the literature to develop a research agenda. In addition to scientific papers from 2000 to the present on topics related to music and health, the research collection contains full-text white papers from the Institute’s Music and Health exchange series
